OUR STORY 

Everyone has a story, this is mine and how Daycor Windows and Doors came to life. 

 

My story started back in 2008 when the recession hit, pushing me to leave corporate finance due to the lack of jobs available and instead leading me down the path of entrepreneurship in the carpentry industry. 

 

Although unsure at the time, in hindsight, all that happened was an opportunity in disguise allowing me to follow my dream and passion of entrepreneurship. 

 

Once the recession happened, I quickly changed gears and went back into construction, specifically in the carpentry industry where I spent the next few years gaining ample industry experience and schooling to obtaining my Red Seal ticket.

 

I soon after opened a home building company in Fort McMurray focusing on high-end home renovations from foundation up, re-builds and additions providing people with their dream homes. 

 

Fast forward a few years later, I introduced my son Hudson to the world and with that life milestone came a move to Vancouver. I decided to close the business and begin a career in Vancouver within the window and door installation industry to be closer to my son.

 

After working with a corporation for ample years, I realized I wanted to step back into entrepreneurship servicing the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island through my own business - Daycor Windows and Doors. 

 

I am excited to help homeowners achieve high-quality, energy-efficient homes maximizing window and door performance inevitably bringing heating and cooling costs down.
