The surfaces of the Daycor Window s products w ill over time collect a layer of surface dust. Normal dusting w ith a damp cloth w ill remove this accumulation of surface dust. If you w ish to do more thorough cleaning of the products, the following procedures should be follow ed.

Vinyl: A mild solution of liquid cleaners such as dishwashing detergent may be used. For stubborn stains, a cleaner such as Fantastic or VIM may be used. Do not use harsh abrasives on vinyl.

Weather stripping: Weatherstripping may become w orn over the life of the w indow, and should, if necessary, be replaced. Loose or w orn weatherstripping is one of the prime reasons for the heat loss and air filtration in w indow s. Weatherstripping may be purchased at any w indow company selling replacement parts.

TO REMOVE SCRATCHES

To remove any scratches from our PVC windows, follow the steps below :

Fill a bucket with water and add some liquid dish soap to it.

Wet the scratched area.

Using a wet piece of 600 grit wet/dry sand paper, lightly sand the scratched area in a circular motion until the scratch starts to fade away.

Then wet a 1200 grit wet/dry sand paper and sand the surface in a circular motion. * The sand paper needs to be very wet at all times to remove any swirls.

Rinse the vinyl and then apply a spray car wax on a rag and rub the vinyl surface to bring back any amount of lost shine
